JustFor.fans' Dominic Ford Shares Philosophy With Video Podcast

LOS ANGELES — JustFor.fans’ Dominic Ford has released a video interview podcast through Brooklyn Wildlife.

The 12-year industry veteran sat down for a 45-minute interview in which he discusses his business philosophy and the future of JustFor.fans.

In the interview, Ford discuses “the diversity of the models on JustFor.fans, and how the company tries to give each faction what it needs,” said a rep.

Ford acknowledges he “can’t speak for everyone, but I can listen to everyone,” underlining the site’s philosophy of “doing its best to hear the needs of its community and reflect their needs on the site.”

He talks about the JustFor.fans Giving program, which has raised over $13,000 for charities that represent the platform's model community.

Additionally, Ford discusses his “models first” philosophy, and contrasts that with what he calls the “business first” philosophies of his major competitors. As a studio owner, he also discusses how the studio business model differs from the “fan” business model, including some "non-obvious benefits to fan content and model-controlled content ownership."
